LaDawn became a part of the Admin Slayer family in March of 2021. Since then, she has had a vital role with several of our client accounts, as well as in supporting the company to grow internally. She lives with her husband in a beautiful forested lake community in central Manitoba and therefore has limited access to the hustle and bustle of city life. Working for Admin Slayer has provided her the freedom to use her 10+ years of professional experience working in administrative capacities, while working from her rural location.

After growing up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, LaDawn’s ambitions took her to bigger cities - Toronto and Calgary, where she had the opportunity to strengthen and cultivate a very strong management and administrative background, in addition to growing her creative skill set through developing marketing and business development strategies. Her ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects - all while supporting her team - has made her an invaluable asset to Admin Slayer.

While some people may become overwhelmed when posed with a disorganized process, LaDawn thrives on diving deep into the mess of it and pulling each piece apart until she can organize it from A-to-Z. She loves being able to “roll up her sleeves” and get to work, either ironing out wrinkles on her own or working collaboratively with her team, hashing out issues and figuring out how to make each system better. You might say her childhood dream of being a backup dancer for Janet Jackson does get played out in her professional life when she is able to “choreograph” a balanced “dance” of cultivated organization and (sometimes necessary) chaos. Her natural intuition and empathic nature allows her to understand where her clients are coming from, what they need most from her, and how she can make a difference - not only with her day-to-day responsibilities but with their business as a whole.

Whenever LaDawn is clocked out and looking to recharge, she loves to practice yoga and meditation. She also enjoys painting, writing poetry and music, going for long hikes with her husband in their neighborhood, and spending time with her two kitties: Olive and Butters. She hopes one day to build a new home in her current lakeside community, while stealing away to Portugal or Spain with her husband over the long and cold Canadian winters.

Being a Slayer allows me to thrive in what I do best, helping others! Also, having the flexibility to work from home and create my own schedule is very important to me. Wellness and a work/life balance is the key to a quality life and a successful business.
