We’re on a roll here with case studies! A mighty good roll at that. If you’ve been following us in 2020, you may have already met Samantha, our financial advisor, Adam, our realtor, and Nathan, our wealth coach and insurance advisor. In a pickle about where to send your kids for summer camp? Avalon is your gal. She has the best resources compiled on one handy dandy website. Ohhhh, the convenience. Summer camps aren’t the only recommendation she provides. She’s also an excellent resource for pediatric dentists, kids activities around the city, and of course, all the hidden gems you probably didn’t know even existed.

Avalon acknowledges that marketing isn’t quite a one-size-fits-all for every business, so she works with her clients to ensure every marketing package and video training session is individualized and customized to be as unique as the clients themselves. Do what you do best, hire out the rest

Amen to that! Avalon was struggling to find someone that had the time (and skill) to take over the customer-centric administration she needed for her bustling marketing agency. The ball was definitely being dropped and Admin Slayer moved in to pick that ball back up. Not all heroes wear capes, my friends. Not only did we hoist that ball up, we basically ricocheted it to outer space. True story. 

Avalon marvelled at the idea that Admin Slayer was a Canadian company - unlike the previous Virtual Administration company she had used that was overseas. We swooped in, organized her day-to-day client communication tasks like the pros we are and provided her business with the support that she truly needed. When she wanted to switch task management systems from Basecamp to Asana, we put our gameday faces on and welcomed the challenge. Change can be tough and the learning curve can be steep for everyone involved, but we knew the end justified the means. Over a handful of Zoom calls, we learned a lot about the new software together. Teamwork makes the dream work, right? We later found out that Avalon had wanted to switch task management systems for years and we were elated to be the ones to bring Avalon’s nagging thought into fruition. *insert hands raised emoji*

Having a team she could trust that is 100% dedicated to administration gave Avalon the peace of mind she so badly craved. Client emails and appointment scheduling was being followed up on, and administrative tasks were being completed in a timely manner. Organizational skills and a strong attention to detail were the top two requirements Avalon had on her list, and Admin Slayer more than fit the bill. With so many moving parts to her business, one snag in professional administration would totally mess up the flow of the  delivery - and the care she takes such pride in - to her clients. Disappointed clients means lost reputations and revenues - ain’t nobody got time for that. We took an almost perfect system, shook it up a bit and came out with a very well-oiled marketing machine. 

Adding value, one opportunity at a time

Avalon was having a hard time keeping up with her marketing agency’s sales pipeline, specifically her workshop follow-up. She delegated (our knees go weak when we hear this word) us the task of the administrative part of her online courses. This means we’re in charge of making sure her students are  on track with her online courses and up-to-date on all associated assignments. We went a step further with her new task management system and equipped Avalon’s business with systematic,  automated tasks and reminders, virtually eliminating the possibility that anything would be missed. That’s right - you had us at “automated.” Such a beautiful word. She is quite thrilled that she no longer frets over small things that in turn take her away from time spent doing what she loves - interacting with clients and helping them create videos for their businesses. 

We also fully acknowledged that entrepreneur overload is a very real thing and suggested rerouting her emails to land in our inbox to avoid overwhelming her with an abundance of emails that we could take off her plate. She unloaded her admin problems and we simply provided meaningful solutions. It’s just what we do. 

We’ve got this!

When we’re not collecting creative assets for Avalon’s various marketing campaigns, we’re usually found doing a twice-daily email check and completing all of the admin tasks that arise and are delegated to us during the work day. Pure satisfaction, really! You know the ball, mentioned previously, that we hoisted into outer space? Well, it’s still up there. We leave no ball un-hoisted (this is a word now) and no client with admin tasks to complete,  when their time can be better spent working on acquiring new business or putting their mental energy into an income-producing activity.
