Since joining Admin Slayer over a year ago, Lindsey has made her mark as a dynamic member and valued contributor to the team. It’s definitely time for you to meet her.

Lindsey appreciates the flexibility of working from home, particularly so she can be available to her two boys. Having recently moved to Nova Scotia from Port aux Basques, Newfoundland, and living far from a family network, Lindsey is confident about getting her work done, yet being able to respond to LIFE!...when the unexpected happens. With Admin Slayer, she is never ‘alone’ because she’s part of a diverse, supportive team who are there to provide expertise and timely help as needed. This means her clients have the best service from her, and she loves it.

With her motto, “My job is to make your job easier!” Lindsey’s priority is her clients. She’s a very social person and feels pretty good at judging character and discerning someone’s personality type. She is sensitive about finding the best way to create and maintain a solid working relationship.

Lindsey also seeks to understand herself and her growth, knowing what she’s good at and aware of what isn’t always her ‘cup of tea’. Building on her skills and strengths, she welcomes constructive criticism when it’s given because she believes good communication and getting honest feedback is important, especially working virtually.

When not in work mode, Lindsey can be found cheering on her boys at the hockey arena: the older plays defense and the younger is a goalie. As she says, “Being a goalie mom is not for the weak at heart!”

And that big heart extends to gathering friends around the table to enjoy delicious foods, good wine, and entertaining conversation. Lindsey loves to laugh…and make others laugh, too. A passion for the outdoors means filling her summers with camping, boating and ATV-ing and winters with snowmobiling… and, of course, hockey. Go Crushers!

Working from home doesn’t mean that the house is always clean, laundry is always done or dinner is always on time! But it does mean that I get to set my own hours and don’t have to leave my house on cold mornings… and I can wear pajama pants if I want to! It also means that I am always available for my two boys when they need me, which is really important to me. I thought I would miss the social aspect of working outside the home, but the Admin Slayer team is incredible, and there’s always someone to talk to! There is never a dull moment!
