Kim is awfully nerdy about calendars. From the massive, colour-coded family calendar in her home, logging and managing the details of every single person, and how each of these interacts with every other person, to the carefully constructed schedules of Admin Slayer’s clients, the connections that calendars create simply delight her.
While her lack of spontaneity might not be appreciated elsewhere, we can’t tell you how much we love it. We know, deeply, that great calendaring equals great project management, and Kim has just the mind for it. With a Bachelor’s in Psychology (with a minor in Sociology), Kim has a keen intellect combined with a genuine interest in human beings. Kim’s project management skills go far beyond data to dig into the human components of planning, ensuring that all the pieces, including travel, breaks, and personal energy management are considered. Her deep interest in and natural care for people creates an intuitive match for our clients who need someone on their side, thinking about what would make their day not only productive, but also enjoyable.
As the primary caregiver to a busy family in rural Nova Scotia, Kim knows what it means to maximize the use of available resources - whether those resources are time, community, or even internet speed. While she loves being a parent, she knows that she’s a better mother and wife when she has the opportunity to work and use her impressive organizational skill set. When she is not juggling all the things with expertise, Kim enjoys crafting, photography, and travel. A city girl at heart, despite her rural location, Kim loves to meet and learn about new people.
Working with Admin Slayer has been ideal for her, providing her with productive work without a commute, and a team that she’s said provides her with incredible support, despite the fact that we’re virtual.
